Subaru Ironman Canada 2016

Again for 2016 The Rotary Club of Whistler coordinated the registration process for the Subaru IRONMAN Canada event in Whistler.

 

We had many volunteers checking in over 2,000 athletes during the 2 1/2 day process on July 21, 22 and  23rd. An extra 1/2 day was added to accommodate the athletes for the 70.3 race which was added this year. Rotary thanks our members, friends and many volunteers who are assisted in this role. It was our chance to welcome athletes to the event and act as an ambassador for Whistler.

 

This is the fourth year of a 5 year commitment IRONMAN has made to locate in Whistler and the Rotary Club of Whistler is proud to be a non-profit benefactor.
