With help from the Rotary Club of Whistler Santa made his annual trip to the Skatin First Nation.

Things started with a shopping trip by Super Elves Jim Miller and Maxine on Dec 16th.  They took special care to select the most appropriate gift for each recipient.

Following a successful trip they returned to Santa's workshop rumored to be at a location somewhere in Whistler's Nordic neighborhood.   Maxine and Jim then wrapped each gift. They were so efficient at gift wrapping that other elves weren't needed fort gift.  Hopefully they did not consume too much egg nog.

Just before they loaded the big sleigh bound for the Skatin First Nation Maxine celebrated by posed for a picture with the gifts. Looks like it was a very successful shopping trip.

The gifts were then distributed at the annual Christmas Party held on Dec 18th at the Skatin First Nation's Head of the Lake School.

Looks like everyone was pretty excited and were anxious to open their gift.  We understand!

The Rotary Club of Whistler is proud to support the children of the Skatin First Nation. We sincerely hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Also the best wishes for a wonderful and prosperous 2016.

Many thanks to Rotary for supporting this project and special thanks to Jim Miller and Maxine for making it happen.
