Rotary Club of Whistler Awards

At the 2013 District Conference in Quinel the Rotary Club of Whistler was presented with an RI Presidential Award, for meeting the RI president's goals for the year. President Elect Marg Pallot received the award for the club, and at the next meeting of the club presented the certificate to president Murray Wood

Also at the District Conference mementos were given out recognizing Rotarians who passed away in this year. Doug Deeks was remembered in this way, and his wife Joan attended  our meeting May 28 to receive the certificate and tree to plant in Doug's memory, from President Elect Marg Pallot.
