Again on Aug 30 the Whistler Rotary clubs welcomed Rotaractor visitors on the Pacific Canada Experience (PACE) with Rotaract trip.  During  this event Rotaractors from all over the world visit BC to experience what makes Canada unique.  Our scenery plus multicultural environment are showcased and the goal is to bring the world a little closer together through life long friendships formed during the trip. This year, we were joined by 6 Rotaractors from Dominican Republic, Fiji, Finland, Germany, South Africa, and Sweden.

As usual the group met with representatives of both Whistler Clubs for a picnic and social at Lyn and Alex Stroshins home on Green Lake.

In what's become an annual PACE tradition the PACE members jumped into Green Lake from the Stroshin's dock. Winner of the contest was the person who could stay in for the longest.

Several of the participants were much more hardy than expected and stayed in the water for an extended period. A tie was declared and the contest was called off once supper was ready.

Following supper each visitor made a brief presentation about themselves, their Rotaract club and their impressions of Canada.  Another very inspiring group and we hope they had a great trip.
