2020 Senator Diane Griffin from PEI

Rotarian Diane Griffin, a member of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty, has been appointed to the Senate of Canada. Diane has spoken to the rotary Club of Whistler two times, once in January during a ski visit and again in March on the COVID19 situation in PEI and from a Senators point of view. Diane is a former deputy environment minister for PEI and has served as Executive Director of the Island Nature Trust. She volunteers on the board of the Nature Conservancy of Canada and has received the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal and the P.E.I. Environment award. Diane is also a published author, publishing a book called Atlantic Wildflowers.
