2020 John Paul Mpagi from Uganda

Rotarian and friend of Past President and partner Annette Martin who have support a university student John in Uganda 29/05/2020 speaks to us from Uganda on ZOOM. The Rotary Club of Whistler, Kitimat and Sunshine Coast under the wing of Peter Ackhurst succeeded in Rotary Internationally funded project in John's country. John was the Rotary contact. the projects were water and latrines in a village.As of yesterday, May 20, the final phase of this project and global grant were officially deemed completed by our friends at Rotary International in Chicago. (we will not go into the bureaucratic challenges faced by John and Peter for getting this one done over the past couple years.)
